The Little Engine That Could

My embroidery machine has been going all day long!  I am finishing up all the blankets for the youth Sunday School class mission project.  By the time I am finished, I think I will have embroidered about 50 blankets.   I moved my machine downstairs so I can keep it going all day long without having to go back and forth and up and down the stairs checking on it and changing out the blankets.   It's been behaving very nicely today - those of you with embroidery machines will understand what that means.  Sometimes they need constant supervision - but thankfully not today!

My Latest Etsy Listing

This smocked t-shirt is in size 3T - although other sizes are available for custom order. The smocking design is little fishies and bubbles.

Photography Class Landscapes

I was so excited to see this scene - an old order Mennonite School -- with all the kid's bicycles out front.

I loved this scene too. Amish Country is so beautiful!!! :-)

Easter Musical Costumes

Last night was the first performance of "Oh Great Redeemer". I was able to snap a couple of pictures of our drama people in the costumes that I made for them before the program.

Smocking Patterns & Magazines for Sale

I am doing some spring cleaning, and have cleaned out some of my smocked patterns and AS&E magazines. I have listed them for sale in my Etsy shop at http://www.etsy.com/shop/SewBearyBlessed

I'm certainly not going to stop smocking - just going to stick to smocking for dolls and a few baby gifts for a while. I also have some duplicate back issues of Sew Beautiful for sale if anyone is interested.
